Community Impact Award

Participants in CCADV's 2006 DVAM RallyAs survivors of domestic violence, members of CCADV’s Survivors Task Force seek to honor individuals and groups in the movement to end domestic violence that put the voices of survivors first. We believe that survivors of domestic violence are experts in the field and that efforts to end domestic violence can only be effective if they are based on the knowledge and experience survivors of domestic violence share with us. Therefore, we seek to honor an individual or group of individuals that put the voice of survivors first and foremost in their work.

We invite you to join us in selecting the next honoree of the CCADV/STF Community Impact Award.

Please review the Award Announcement and download the Community Impact Award nomination form to nominate a deserving recipient.

The Community Impact Award will be presented at the Domestic Violence Awareness Month Rally from 12noon - 2:00pm on October 2, 2007, on the West Steps of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver.
